On the third day of the second Test match of the series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka being played in Colombo, opener Abdullah Shafiq was dismissed after playing an innings of 201 off 326 balls, his innings included 19 fours and 4 sixes.
Abdullah Shafiq became the seventh batsman to score a century outside the country after Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Hafeez, Abid Ali, Azhar Ali, Aamir Sohail and Mohsin Khan have done this feat.

Earlier, Saud Shakeel played an unbeaten innings of 208 runs in the first innings of the Galle Test match, in which the national team defeated the host Sri Lanka by 4 wickets.
On the other hand, the national team has a lead of 270 runs in the second Test match against Sri Lanka, while the host team returned to the pavilion after scoring just 166 runs in the first innings.
